The location of the cottage is perfect, just a short drive away from both Cardiff and Brecon. the studio is cosy and nicely decorated, with a small kitchenette offering convenience. the views from the terrace are absolutely stunning, overlooking the beautiful fields. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to assist us with any issues, even offering us the use of their oven when ours malfunctioned. the bed is super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The soundproofing between the ground and first-floor studios is not great, allowing some noise to seep through.

I had a pleasant stay at Tunnel Cottages. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The cottage had a charming rustic feel, with beautiful stonework on the walls. The views from the cottage were lovely. The sheets and linen provided were clean and crisp. The location was convenient, with a large Tesco nearby for any food shopping needs.

The cottage had amazing views and a cozy atmosphere. The beds were comfy and the shower was lovely. The availability of a log burner and Sky TV was a great bonus. The proximity to a train station made it convenient for a trip to Cardiff.
The sofa was a bit small and it would have been nice to have a bigger one in front of the fireplace. It would be helpful to have a switch to turn off the outside light for stargazing.

I had such a wonderful stay at the cozy cottage at Blaen-Nant-Y-Groes Farm. The underfloor heating made the cottage warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I also appreciated the woodburner, just in case the weather turned cooler. The Sky TV was a nice touch, making it feel like a home away from home. It was great to be in a dog-friendly location, and the enclosed courtyard provided extra space for my furry friends. The cottage itself was spacious, and the kitchenette had everything I needed. The view of the fields from the terrace was lovely, and I enjoyed taking a stroll along the disused railway line to the local pub. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Tunnel Cottages At Blaen-Nant-Y-Groes Farm to anyone looking for a cozy and pet-friendly retreat.

Charming rustic apartment with lovely stonework on the walls. Close proximity to a large Tesco for convenient food shopping. - the location was secluded and peaceful.
The noise from the upstairs occupants was extremely disruptive and made it difficult to sleep. The downstairs area was quite dusty and not properly cleaned.

The character of the cottage was superb and we loved the views. The location was excellent, away from the hustle and bustle. One of the best aspects was the clean and sharp sheets/linen. The cottage Gwyn had a lovely little kitchenette and underfloor heating, which added to our comfort.
One of the worst aspects was the noise from the cottage above, which was quite loud and made it difficult to take afternoon naps. We were disappointed that there was no warning about ongoing construction work above us, which disrupted our stay.

We stayed in Gwyn, the small studio at Tunnel Cottages. The stone-walled, slate floor cottage was absolutely beautiful and spacious enough for two people. The hosts were incredibly helpful, and the views from the cottage were breathtaking. The location was perfect for scenic walks, and the cottage itself felt like a step back in time. We loved the option to chop our own wood and appreciated the dishwasher for longer stays. The underfloor heating kept us cozy, and the hot water bottles were a nice touch. The compact kitchen had everything we needed, with plenty of pots, pans, and cutlery.
I highly recommend this hotel.
